Looking for a spooky, low-carb Halloween treat? These Low Carb “Witch’s Fingers” Cheddar Almond Crackers are just the ticket! Shaped like creepy witch’s fingers and made from a blend of cheddar cheese and almond flour, they’re both eerie and delicious. Perfect for a party or a fun family snack that’s keto-friendly!Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups almond flour
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 20 almond slices (for “fingernails”)
- 1 tsp paprika (for garnish)
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine the almond flour, shredded cheddar, egg, melted butter, garlic powder, paprika, and salt. Mix until it forms a dough.
- Take small portions of dough and shape them into finger-like logs (about 3 inches long). Press an almond slice at the tip to create the “fingernail.”
- Using a butter knife, make small slits in the dough to create knuckle-like ridges. Sprinkle lightly with paprika for a “bloodshot” look.
- Place the witch’s fingers on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crackers are golden and crisp.
- Allow to cool before serving. These spooky crackers are best enjoyed on Halloween night!
